FEDERAL STIMULUS PLAN PASSED - HOME BUYER TAX CREDIT AVAILABLE
Under the economic stimulus plan signed into law in February of this year, a tax credit is available for all first time home buyers purchasing a home between January 1, 2009 and November 30, 2009. First time home buyers or people who have not owned a home for the previous three years are eligible to receive a tax credit of 10% of the purchase price of the home to a maximum tax credit of $8,000.
